COOL CLUB

We are pleased to announce some exciting changes coming this year to COOL Club, Open Bible Christian Academy's Before and After School program. We are striving to provide a safe, secure, caring and educationally sound environment.

 

COOL (Christ Our Only Lord) Club is offered for all Open Bible students between the ages of 3 - 15 from 7 am - 8 am and from 3 pm - 6 pm. If your student will be in the building during these hours, we are respectfully requesting that they be registered for COOL Club. This will ensure their safety and assist in making an Open Bible Christian Academy an environment of excellence.

 

All students will be served a morning and afternoon snack, be provided with free tutoring and homework help, and offered  a variety of different activities to choose from each day. They will be included in cooperative learning groups and allowed time to explore their creativity through arts and crafts.

 

COOL Club is licensed through the Maryland Department of Education - Office of Childcare and will follow every regulation. By working together with families, we will make sure that our program is in compliance at all times. A list of the regulations can be found at www.msde.maryland.gov.

 

Our program offers many options for enrollment including full-time, part-time, and drop-in care. If you are interested in your child attending COOL Club for the  school year, please complete the contract below and return it to the office at your earliest convenience. After receiving the contract, we will be happy to send you the paperwork required by the Office of Childcare. All paperwork must be returned by August 24. This includes students that have been enrolled in COOL Club in the past, new students, and any student that may occasionally need to be in our care. Due to the state regulations, no student  will be allowed under our supervision without these forms. If there is even a small possibility that your student may need to be in our care, we encourage you to be proactive and complete the necessary forms.
